1. What maximum amount is permitted for purchasing Traveler’s Cheques?
- A maximum amount of purchase is not limited by law. Although a purchase of Travelers cheques for the amount over approx. USD 27 000 will be reported to Tax department. By sale of Travelers cheques to the customers a report is submitted by the Bank for any amount of money.
2. What are the rules for bringing the cheques abroad?
- It is free of any restrictions
3. What can I do in a foreign country if my travel schedule has changed?
- Apply to American Express representative offices for help if you purchased the production through the AMEX network.
4. Why I was charged when I tried to change my airticket through the AMEX network? As far as I know they should do it free of charge.
- It might be too late to cancel your reservation and you were charged fee from the airline company. When you buy a ticket always pay attention if you have an opportunity to change or cancel it.
5. Why being in a business trip I tried to change my hotel reservation and was charged for this service?
- Your original agency was not an American Express representative and you did not have WWCC sign on your envelope with papers.
